The Carry On Tote - Free Pattern
The Carry On Tote is a quick and easy beginner friendly pattern.

Time to make: 1-2 hrs
SUPPLIES:
• One 18” roll of heavy gauge PVC clear vinyl (I used 20 gauge)
• Two 24” pieces of 1” or 1.5” webbing ~OR~ two 24” W x 1” H pieces of clear vinyl ~OR~ two
24.5”x 4-6” pieces of fabric for the handles (see Step 3)
• Sewing machine foot that is suitable for working with vinyl; walking foot, roller foot, teflon foot
• Needle: Leather or denim needle size 90/14 is suggested
• 100% polyester thread
• Erasable marking pen
• 24” quilting ruler or longer
• Rotary cutter and mat
• Lighter if using webbing
• Damp Cloth
• (optional) If using cotton woven for the handles; two 24.5”x 4-6” pieces of SF101 or equivalent
• (optional) Seam roller
• (optional) 1 magnetic snap
• (optional) 4 short rivets or chicago screws and a fabric hole punch
• (optional) Fray Check if using rivets and webbing or fabric
• (optional) Heavy duty clips/clamps and felt or thick interfacing scraps like foam or fleece
